How to Apply

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis year-round, subject to session dates and availability. Applicants are encouraged to apply at least 5 months in advance; a minimum of 90 days is required to complete academic review, housing, and (where applicable) visa procedures.

  1. Choose your pathway

18+ (post-secondary, gap year) or 15–17 (pre-college youth). Each pathway has separate academic, supervisory, and documentation requirements.

  2. Request the Application Form

Contact the Study Abroad Office at francesca.serra@unicollege.eu. Institutional endorsement is required where applicable; parental involvement is mandatory for minors.

  3. Submit your application

The form covers academic background, program and course selection, housing options, logistical details, deadlines, and payment information.

  4. Receive confirmation

Applications are typically confirmed within 7–10 working days. Participants receive formal acceptance and pre-arrival instructions.

  5. Enroll and arrange travel

Submit the first non-refundable installment per the schedule in the Application Form. Check visa requirements based on program length and nationality.

  6. Arrive and begin

Housing check-in is 2–3 days before program start. Orientation is provided at the beginning of each session and adapted to the specific pathway.

Visa Considerations

Program length and nationality determine visa requirements. Short-term programs may allow visa-free entry; longer stays may require a study visa. Applicants are responsible for verifying their eligibility, with guidance provided during the application process.

Program Completion and Documentation

once you complete, participants receive official documentation appropriate to their pathway: faculty evaluation, portfolio materials, certificate of completion, and—where operationally supported—academic records issued under partner or academic record office protocols.
