Florence Campus

The Florence Campus

The campus in Florence originates from a prestigious convent held by the Scolopi (or Priarists), an influential religious order of Christian clerics with educational venues across the country and internationally. The impressive complex, protected by the Superintendency of Monuments, dates back to the second half of the 1600s and sits atop a hill overlooking the city, offering priceless views.

More than 8,000 square meters of land cultivated with olive trees and a soccer field make up an extraordinary green space available to students for study and relaxation. The building is owned by the Piarist Fathers of Florence and previously served as the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Florence.

Campus Facilities

The Institute consists of 14 fully equipped classrooms (25 average seats per class), an advanced IT lab with 40+ computer stations, a cafeteria with tables and working stations, as well as an auditorium (150 seats), vast green areas (8,000+ squared meters), a soccer field, and individual studio rooms. The campus includes a dormitory with fully equipped common areas including a kitchen, laundry, and toilets.

Within the same building is the Church of Santa Maria del Suffragio, a precious historical church dating back to the late Medici era and decorated with sober Baroque touches. The venue is strategically located between the city center and the city's most prestigious residential area, just a 5-minute walk from New York University (Florence).

University Dormitory

The Florence campus features an integrated university residence accommodating up to 55 students, with options including single, double, triple and quadruple rooms, as well as studios with garden access and shared apartments. All units are fully furnished and equipped with air conditioning, personal refrigerators and Wi-Fi. Shared facilities such as kitchen, dining and laundry areas support a comfortable and community-oriented living environment.

Transportation

Public transport options include Bus Line 25 (from La Pira terminus to Bruno Fanciullacci), Lines 302/A and 307/A from Piazza della Libertà, and Tram T1 from Florence Santa Maria. Bike sharing (BikeMovi) and car sharing (Enjoy) provide sustainable transportation options. The campus location offers students direct access to Florence's Renaissance art, architecture, and cultural institutions.
