Unicollege offers semester- and year-long study abroad programs for students from U.S., Canadian, European, and international partner universities, as well as qualified independent applicants seeking a structured, credit-bearing academic experience within the Italian Higher Education System.
Semester or Year Abroad Programs represent one of Unicollege’s flagship international initiatives, allowing students from partner universities around the world to study at an accredited Italian university while benefiting from a highly supported, accessible, and sustainable international education experience. Unlike many traditional study abroad models, particularly those operating in highly sought-after destinations such as Florence, Unicollege adopts a university-to-university partnership philosophy that prioritizes academic accessibility over commercialization. Through inter-institutional agreements, students may benefit from a tuition-free experience while still receiving the comprehensive services that are commonly offered at additional costs within the broader study abroad industry. The semester or yearly program fee therefore does not include tuition, which is waived through existing agreements between Unicollege and partner institutions. Rather, it encompasses all the essential academic, administrative, housing, wellbeing, and support services required to accompany students throughout their entire international journey, from their first orientation meeting until their return to their home university.
Students from non-partner institutions may also apply independently; in such cases, tuition fees will apply separately.
Enrollments for all study abroad programs are open year round, and students are placed in the next available academic session. Applications are accepted at any time during the year.
