Everything your IRO needs to send students to us - efficiently, transparently, and with full academic confidence.

We are a MUR-accredited Italian university, not a study-abroad intermediary. You work directly with our International Office on nominations, Learning Agreements, and transcript requests. The academic relationship is university-to-university throughout.

How Partnerships Work

Unicollege enters into bilateral inter-institutional agreements on a 1:1 basis - one signed agreement between the two universities, defining the number of exchange places, the academic areas covered, nomination timelines, and credit recognition arrangements. Each partnership is managed directly between the two International Offices, with no intermediary. Our team is your single point of contact - from the first agreement to the final transcript.

What We Provide

Academic Documentation

Ready for your registrar

For every course available to incoming students, we provide:

  • Full syllabus with learning outcomes and bibliography
  • ECTS credit value and contact hours
  • Assessment method and grading criteria
  • Language of instruction

Transcripts of Records are issued within 30 days of the close of the exam session in which the student completes their last exam.

Learning Agreement Support

Co-signature and coordination

Unicollege signs Learning Agreements through its International Office. We support both paper-based and digital workflows - contact us to confirm the preferred format for your institution.

Changes to the Learning Agreement after arrival are processed within 5 working days of request, subject to course availability.

See the Learning Agreement page for procedures and timelines.

Student Support Services

From nomination to departure

Incoming students receive structured support at every stage:

  • Pre-arrival documentation and visa guidance
  • In-person orientation at the start of each semester
  • Assistance with accommodation referrals
  • Italian language course (beginner level) available to incoming exchange students
  • A dedicated point of contact throughout the semester

Grade & Credit Conversion

Transparent and documented

Italian grades run on a 18-30 scale (30 with honors = distinction). We provide a full grade distribution table and conversion guide for partner registrars.

The ECTS Grading Table is available on request and is updated annually based on the distribution of grades awarded across all programs.

See the Grades & Credits page for the full conversion table.

How the Relationship Works

  1. Inter-Institutional Agreement

The relationship begins with a signed bilateral MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) between the two universities, defining the terms of the partnership, the number of exchange places per semester, and the academic areas covered.

  2. Nomination

Each semester, the partner institution nominates selected students through the agreed channel. Unicollege confirms acceptance and sends students the next steps for enrollment. See Nomination Procedures for deadlines and contact.

  3. Learning Agreement

Once accepted, students draft their proposed course selection. Unicollege co-signs the Learning Agreement after verifying availability. Partner institutions co-sign before departure. Changes after arrival are managed through an established amendment process.

  4. Study Period

Students attend courses, sit exams, and participate in campus life at Unicollege. The International Office remains in contact with the partner institution throughout the semester.

  5. Transcript of Records

After the exam session, Unicollege issues an official Transcript of Records sent directly to the partner institution's International Office. Delivery is within 30 days of the close of the exam session.
