Housing Options

Unicollege does not own student residences. The International Office maintains a list of vetted providers — student residences, homestays and shared-flat partners — in each campus city. Students are supported during the search but sign contracts directly with the housing provider.

  • Student residences (private operators): furnished single or double rooms, utilities included, weekly cleaning.
  • Homestays: single room in a host family, breakfast and one meal per day included.
  • Shared flats: selected from partner agencies offering fixed-term furnished contracts.

Health Insurance

All non-EU students must have valid health insurance covering the full stay, for a minimum of € 30,000 in medical and hospitalisation coverage. EU/EEA students may present the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC / TEAM). More details and recommended providers are listed on the Health Insurance page.

Payment & Refunds

  • Tuition is invoiced in two instalments: 50 % to confirm the seat, 50 % before the start of classes.
  • Accepted methods: SEPA bank transfer and international wire transfer. Credit card payment is available with a 1.5 % surcharge.
  • Refund: full refund of the confirmation instalment if the student cancels at least 30 days before the start of the programme. After that threshold, refunds are assessed case-by-case.
  • The application fee is non-refundable in all cases.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Unicollege offers a limited number of merit-based scholarships for study-abroad students. Typical awards range from € 500 to € 2,500. Eligibility is based on academic records, a motivation letter and — for summer programmes — financial need. US students may also use Federal Direct Loans (FAFSA) through selected partner universities; please contact the International Office for the current list.
