Unicollege is a university working directly with universities. No intermediary. No standard package. Each program is developed peer-to-peer, around academic priorities, student access and the financial context of the community it serves. From community colleges and minority-serving institutions to public, state and private universities, this model has opened international education to students for whom study abroad might otherwise remain out of reach. Set the budget. Choose the location, duration and faculty. Add the experiences that matter. Restoring what has always belonged at the heart of study abroad: universities working between universities, for universities, peer to peer.
An ideal, community-sensitive range per student — one that the majority of participants could reasonably afford. The estimate should cover the full program, excluding airfare, which is arranged directly by participants.
An ideal month range for the program. Greater flexibility helps secure the best academic, housing and logistical arrangements.
Programs are based at one or more Unicollege campuses, providing the reference point for classes, housing, meals and program coordination. Additional destinations across Italy can be added later as day trips or multi-day experiences.
Academic instruction may be delivered through one of the following models.
A provisional program title indicating the academic focus and helping Unicollege identify the most relevant faculty for potential collaboration or co-teaching.
Larger groups generally allow for a lower per-student cost. For higher enrollments, Unicollege can also provide additional on-site group leaders.
Admission is calculated per student at the rate published by each institution. Where a licensed guide is required, the guide fee is charged to the group on an hourly basis, subject to the applicable minimum duration, and divided among participants; the resulting per-student share therefore varies according to the expected group size indicated in Step 7. Additional venues, visits, or experiential activities may be specified in Step 9 and incorporated into the program proposal and cost estimate at a later stage.
Group reductions, capacity limits and booking requirements are noted against each institution and are applied by Unicollege when the proposal is prepared.
Any academic, accessibility, institutional or logistical requirements, special interests or priorities that should be taken into account.
