Campus, Housing & Meal Plan

Faculty-Led Programs may be based at a single Unicollege campus or developed across multiple Italian locations. Residential and dining arrangements are incorporated into the program from the outset, allowing the academic itinerary, cohort structure, faculty requirements, and institutional budget to be planned as a single framework.

Programs may be hosted in Florence, Mantua, Milan, or Turin, with the possibility of combining locations or extending the academic itinerary through Unicollege’s university network in Italy and Europe. The objective is to maintain a consistent institutional framework while allowing each partner university to determine the geography and structure most appropriate to its curriculum.

A program may remain entirely within one campus or move between cities where the academic rationale calls for a multi-location itinerary.

Housing for Student Cohorts

Housing is arranged directly within the Unicollege program framework and selected according to cohort size, location, duration, academic itinerary, and agreed program budget. In Florence and Mantua, student groups may be accommodated on campus, in university-managed residences on or immediately adjacent to the academic location. In Milan and Turin, Unicollege arranges accommodation through selected affiliated residences, apartments, hotels, and other approved partners. Housing costs and configurations are incorporated into the institutional program proposal.

Residential configurations

Accommodation may include shared rooms, single rooms, apartment-style options, or small-group arrangements, with the final configuration defined according to cohort needs, availability, and the financial framework agreed with the partner university.

Faculty & Program-Leader Housing

Faculty and program leaders are accommodated through separate residential arrangements appropriate to the academic and supervisory responsibilities of the program. These arrangements are developed alongside student housing and may include private rooms, apartments, hotels, or other appropriate accommodation according to location, duration, faculty preference, and institutional budget. The objective is to provide proximity to the student cohort while maintaining an appropriate degree of independence for faculty and program leadership.

Meal Plan

If requested, meal provision is integrated into the Faculty-Led Program structure and adapted to the campus and residential model. The standard provision is designed to ensure a dependable daily meal while leaving sufficient flexibility for independent meals, faculty-led activities, excursions, and program-specific dining experiences.

Where academically relevant, meals may also become part of the curriculum through culinary workshops, regional food studies, markets, professional visits, and other activities developed with the Unicollege School of Culinary Arts.

Designed as Part of the Program

Campus, accommodation, meals, faculty housing, and local support are not treated as a separate package. They are developed alongside the academic program as part of the same peer-to-peer institutional planning process.

The partner university may therefore establish the academic priorities, destination, cohort profile, duration, residential expectations, and target budget at the beginning of the process. Unicollege then develops the corresponding academic and residential framework within its campuses and university network.
