Campus Housing & Meal Plan

Housing forms part of Unicollege Rotation Programs and is arranged directly by the University for all international participants. Placements are organized around three principles: safety, proximity to both the academic location and the assigned professional venue, and alignment with the program calendar.

Rotation Programs may be based in Florence, Mantua, Milan, or Turin, either in a single city or, where academically appropriate, across multiple destinations. Florence and Mantua primarily use University residences, while Milan and Turin rely on selected affiliated residences, apartments, hotels, and other approved accommodation within the Unicollege network.

Housing Placement

University residences are prioritized wherever available. When capacity is reached, placement is arranged through the established Unicollege housing network, including affiliated apartments, residences, and other approved accommodation located in proximity to the academic campus and, where possible, the assigned professional venue.

Rooms & Residential Facilities

Rotation housing may include single, en-suite single, double, triple, quadruple, or apartment-style accommodation, depending on location, residence capacity, program duration, and availability. Accommodation is furnished for academic and professional stays and generally includes Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchens, bathroom facilities, laundry access, shared living spaces, and air conditioning where applicable. Specific layouts and amenities vary according to residence and city.

Meal Plan

A daily meal plan is included in Unicollege Rotation Programs. The standard provision includes one meal per day, typically comprising a main course, drink, and coffee. Florence uses campus dining facilities; Mantua operates through the University meal-voucher system; Milan and Turin use a meal plan or equivalent dining credit according to the residence and program structure.

Where the professional-placement schedule requires different arrangements, meal provision may be adapted to the timing and location of the assigned venue.

Before Arrival

Residential arrangements are completed as part of the pre-departure process. Participants receive the relevant housing address, room assignment, check-in instructions, meal-plan information, and practical details relating to travel between the residence, campus, and professional venue before the beginning of the program whenever possible.

The International Office remains the institutional point of contact for housing coordination before arrival and throughout the Rotation Program.
