Campus Housing & Meal Plan

Participants in Unicollege Internship Abroad programs may request University-facilitated housing for the duration of their academic and professional experience in Italy. Accommodation may be arranged in University residences, where available, or through selected affiliated residences, apartments, hotels, and other approved providers within the Unicollege housing network.

Residential arrangements are coordinated according to location, availability, duration of stay, and proximity to the relevant campus and professional placement. Students may also arrange accommodation independently.

Housing Placement

Where housing assistance is requested, University residences are prioritized when available. Once capacity is reached, Unicollege may facilitate accommodation through its established network of affiliated apartments, residences, approved housing providers, or other suitable residential arrangements. Assignments are subject to availability and are generally handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Residence information and check-in instructions are communicated before arrival whenever possible.

Rooms & Residential Facilities

University-facilitated accommodation may include single, double, triple, quadruple, or apartment-style arrangements, depending on campus, residence availability, and duration of stay. Accommodation is furnished for academic and professional stays and generally includes Wi-Fi, study furniture, kitchen access, bathroom facilities, laundry facilities, shared living areas, and air conditioning where applicable. Individual layouts and amenities vary by residence and city.

Meal Arrangements

Where residential and meal services are arranged through Unicollege, the applicable dining provision is coordinated according to campus and program structure. Florence may use campus dining facilities; Mantua operates through its meal-voucher system; and Milan and Turin use the meal arrangements available through the relevant affiliated network. Specific arrangements are communicated before arrival.

Before Arrival

Participants requesting housing assistance receive the relevant residence information, check-in procedures, and practical guidance before the beginning of the internship whenever possible.

Because internship schedules may be determined partly by the professional host, Unicollege also considers the practical connection between housing, campus, and placement location when facilitating accommodation.
