The building — a protected Florentine monument

Owned by the Piarist Fathers of Florence and formerly the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Florence. Protected by the Superintendency of Monuments, the complex dates back to the second half of the 1600s and houses the Church of Santa Maria del Suffragio, a late-Medici-era church with a sober Baroque touch.
