For students applying without a home-university agreement, Unicollege manages the admission directly — same academic and administrative standards as partner-based applications, with flexible entry points.

What the independent pathway looks like

Direct enrollment

The student applies directly to Unicollege — no home-university nomination required.

Flexible intakes

Students are placed in the closest available session: Fall, Spring or Summer.

Same academic standards

Documentation, confirmation and academic quality mirror the partner-university process (steps 4–12).

Application process — step by step

An 8-step sequence managed directly between student and Unicollege.

    Direct enrollment request

    Contact the Study Abroad Office: francesca.serra@unicollege.eu. Applications accepted year-round.

  2. 2

    Application Form issued

    The Study Abroad Office sends the official form covering academic info, housing, logistics, deadlines and payment.

  3. 3

    Submission & review

    The completed form is submitted to Unicollege for review and processing.

  4. 4

    Acceptance notification

    Within 15 days of receiving the application form, Unicollege issues acceptance (Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 intakes).

  5. 5

    Confirmation + 50% deposit

    Within 15 days of acceptance, the student confirms their place and pays the first non-refundable installment (50%).

  6. 6

    Visa application

    For stays > 90 days, submit online visa application: by June 2026 for Fall 2026, by October 2026 for Spring 2027. Allow up to 90 days.

  7. 7

    Outstanding balance

    Balance due: July 6, 2026 (Fall 2026) · November 6, 2026 (Spring 2027).

  8. 8

    Arrival & first day of class

    Arrive Sept 3–4, 2026 (Fall) / Jan 14–15, 2027 (Spring). Classes begin Sept 7, 2026 / Jan 18, 2027.
