Pre-College and Gap Year Programs

Structured academic experiences for students preparing for university — rooted in the Italian higher education context. Two separate, non-interchangeable pathways run under different supervisory and documentation frameworks.

Ages 15–17

Pre-College Youth Programs

A pre-college academic experience for minors with age-appropriate supervision, scaffolding and documentation. Instruction mirrors university-level learning — seminars, applied inquiry, guided project work — adapted for younger students.

  • Seminar-based coursework
  • Guided field study & supervised City Lab activities
  • Formal safeguarding policies and residential supervision
Default: non-credit
Ages 18+

Pre-University & Gap Year Study

For students who have completed secondary education and are preparing to enter university or seeking a structured academic gap year. Offered as bridge sessions, semester terms or full-year experiences.

  • Small discussion-based seminars
  • Guided reading, writing and academic argumentation
  • Field studies and City Lab integrated into coursework
For-credit track available*

*Where academic partnerships are in place, the 18+ pathway may support for-credit recognition. Students on for-credit tracks may request a direct Transcript of Record issued by Westcliff University (WASC-accredited, USA), subject to the partner institution's academic policies. Non-credit terms are supported by robust documentation, faculty evaluation, academic portfolios and completion certificates.
